The Fountain of Youth

Everyone asks me how I maintain my youth, and my answer is simple. On a mundane level,
I never talk about age, ever---yours, mine, anyone's age. Even when I was in my 20's, it was just not my focus. I never developed a timeline of what you do at a certain age, how you act, dress and think at a given age, or what to expect when you reach 30, 40, 50 etc. (aches, pains, memory loss etc)
  • I never used the term o-l-d when referring to myself, ever
  • I don't consume alcohol
  • I don't smoke
  • I am a vegetarian
  • I stay out of the sun

Doesn't sound like much fun perhaps, but, this is the key. I attribute my good health partly to genetics, but mainly to lifestyle. Postpartum depression and menopausal hotflashes, which many women expect and get, were never in my consciousness, nor in my experience.

So what can you do? There are many things.

First of all, you can be happy. Evoking feelings of happiness are something that we all have to work at. It's not always automatic. We have to make a conscious effort to create, develop and maintain emotions that sustain our feelings of well being at all times. Live in the state of loving awareness. It's not always easy. In fact, it is a huge challenge at times, but no one else can do this for us. Since we create our own reality, we really have no choice.

Secondly, you need to, as Jesus said, become like children again. This is the virgin spirit of the goddess Kumari-- the sweet innocence, the pure joy, the exuberance of life. We often suppress our childlike qualities of wonder and enthusiasm, and replace those feelings with complacency, boredom, suspicion, skepticism and other emotions that stop the flow of joy. Be happy and feel good.

Third, you must take care of your body through good nutrition and exercise. I don't mean just physical exercise to build your physical strength and external body. More than that, I mean exercises for your internal muscularity and organs, which rejuvenate, heal and restore health; exercises that activate sexual energy.

Fourth, make supplements part of your daily routine.

Fifth, have a daily practice that includes meditation and exercise. The primary benefit of a daily tantric practice is to activate, transform and transmute sexual energy. The fountain of youth is the elixir that is released by that orgasmic energy, that electrical energy that flushes your entire being in a cascade of love, peace and timelessness.

Last of all, have plenty of tantric sex!

There is no concept of time and space here. So there is no age.

This is the energy that keeps you young.
